Is Steve Jobs a good blogger?
Is Steve Jobs a good blogger? I am not a wide blog reader, I don't think I've read his blogs though I've read some of his speeches in the newspapers and like them.
And for that matter, is BillG or Larry Ellison etc?
In their days, there was no blog.
So, let's do a thought experiment. Let's assume they had wordpress, blogger, etc in their days too.
But can you imagine Jobs and Gates and Ellison blogging away their time? Even just one or two posts per week.
I can't.
The truth is, I can't.

Their secretaries will do for them. :)
ReplyDeletepandora wins the prize! In my corporation, the few senior leaders that blog are (as far as I can tell) merely drafting their postings and sending them to admin. people for entry into the blog. they are definitely not participating in any conversation in the comments sections either. For them, it is yet another opportunity to engage in "stone tablet down the mountainside" communication.
ReplyDeleteGraham,
ReplyDelete(1) I like that phrase: "stone tablet down the mountainside" communication.
That's true in big corps.
(2) But in small startups, CEOs spend 80 to 88% of their time in those conversations.
